This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
